Environmental Forest Practices
Wood is a genuinely renewable resource, and we make every effort to ensure that our wood comes from forest sites that are managed in accordance with the highest principles of environmental stewardship. Our flooring lumber comes from managed F.S.C. forests or Salvaged Old Growth wood from dead-standing & wind-fallen trees. We also purchase Douglas Fir from retired bridge timbers.
